CHS IB business management students toured AriZona Beverages headquarters in Woodbury on Friday.

The students heard about a wide array of business topics, including the importance of the company having factories spread throughout its distribution area to avoid the high freight costs of a product that largely is composed of water.

The students met the company's head of social media, who teased an upcoming campaign featuring the word, "AriZZona."

Company reps also spoke about how AriZona's products have diversified to include "hard" drinks that the students are not able to consume at their age. And they highlighted AriZona's corporate culture, which includes Western-themed architecture at its headquarters as a way of inspiring and retaining employees.
