COMMACK HIGH SCHOOL

The CHS marching band and Cougarettes rocked the 61st annual Newsday Marching Band Festival on Wednesday evening at the Mitchel Field Athletic Complex in Uniondale.

After being tabbed to perform the national anthem, event organizers saved CHS' four-song, Halloween-themed performance for late in the evening. And the band and Cougarettes didn't disappoint, delighting the crowd with Michael Jackson's Thriller as well as Ghostbusters.

CHS boasted the largest cheering section of the night, including the football team making the trip to support the band and kickline.
