COMMACK HIGH SCHOOL

CHS’ annual Halloween Happening may have set its attendance record on Wednesday.

A massive turnout arrived at the high school beginning at 4 p.m. as assorted high school student groups manned booths and doled out sweets.

CHS’ band members, some wearing costumes, played Halloween-themed songs that they had featured in their Newsday Marching Band Festival performance. 

And a haunted house was so popular, the line still weaved through the front of the school as the event wound down.
