COMMACK HIGH SCHOOL

The CHS science honor society inducted 95 new members during a ceremony in the high school's auditorium on Wednesday evening.

Befitting a science ceremony, a lighting of glow sticks by the inductees substituted for the candle-lighting portion of other honor societies' inductions.

The switch came with an explanation of the chemical reaction that allows a glow stick to emit light.
