Gabriella Mancuso served as president of the CHS art club before graduating in 2020. On Tuesday afternoon, she returned to the club as a guest speaker to discuss her career path and inspire others.

After graduating from CHS, Mancuso went on to earn a bachelor of fine arts in graphic design with minors in marketing and packaging science from Rochester Institute of Technology.

She now works as a designer for Manhattan-based Haddad Brands, designing packaging for companies including Nike, Converse, Abercrombie & Fitch and Huggies. The bulk of her work has been in design for children's wear and baby wear as well as socks and underwear packaging.

Mancuso had been involved in all aspects of art at CHS, but she subsequently focused on graphic design because it proved a path to work for a company and more financial security.

She showed the current CHS art club members aspects of her work, including renderings such as a "mechanical page."

Mancuso's brother Matteo, a current CHS student, attended her presentation after school on Tuesday.
