COMMACK HIGH SCHOOL

Musicians from throughout the district rocked Commack's Band Night on Tuesday evening at CMS.

A combined Burr and Sawmill intermediate band kicked off the evening. They were followed by the CMS select band and then the CHS ICA symphonic band.

The evening then concluded with guest clinician Dr. James McRoy joining musicians from all levels on stage for a joint performance of "Fanfare for All."

CMS also will host the district-wide Strings Night on Thursday at 7 p.m., plus Vocal Night on March 18 and Jazz Night on March 31.

By combining all levels of one music discipline in a single concert, patrons can fully appreciate the progress musicians achieve as they ascend through Commack Schools.
