CHS ASL Students Compete at East Meadow’s ASL Idol
On Thursday evening, the stage at East Meadow came alive with expressive storytelling and musicality as three talented groups of American Sign Language (ASL) students from CHS competed in the highly anticipated ASL Idol. The CHS students brought incredible energy, emotion, and skill to the competition, representing the ASL program with pride.
At the event, Ariana and Anastasia earned Second Place with their performance of "Someday." The competition also featured Melanie, who performed “Risk,” and Katherine and Gabrielle, who signed “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
